Awards of Excellence
This award is not intended to be a capstone to an individual’s career, but recognition of the memberships appreciation for the individual’s current accomplishments and contributions to the Association and the profession of school business management. These individuals have demonstrated a continuous interest in learning and in staying abreast of developments in the field of school business management. They have provided leadership and commitment to the Association and are role models for other school business officials.
Key Characteristics for award recognition
Active members in good standing of the Association of School Business Officials of Alberta.
(Certified, Regular and Associate members).
Current members of the ASBOA Executive are not eligible during their terms.

Nominations must be submitted by February 15, 2017. Nominations may be made by:
All nominations must be supported with a narrative of the nominee's achievements and contributions. Responses to each question should not exceed a single page if possible. Space has been provided on the Nomination form.
Award Recipients will be announced and presented at the Annual Conference. Recipients will not be notified or announced prior to this event.
Notification will be sent to the Board Chair and the Superintendent of the recipients school jurisdiction, immediately following the presentation.
There may be up to three (3) Awards of Excellence presented annually.

The Association of School Business Officials is registered under the Professions and Occupations Association Registration Act and represents more than 225 school business officials in the province of Alberta and the North West Territories. ASBOA provides programs and services to promote the highest standards of school business management practices and professional growth.
